RHO NY Reunion Pt1 Recap

Thursday night The Real Housewives of New York met up for the first time for a reunion show filled with drama, walkouts and confrontations.  Season three was probably the most dramatic season, so I could not wait to see the show.

The shows started with all the housewives (minus Sonja, who appears later) joined by Andy Cohen. After small talk with everyone, Andy immediately got into the drama surrounding Alex and Jill. Alex explained how she was so fed up and has been carrying three years of resentment regarding Jill’s comments. She accused Jill of being a controlling backstabber and wanting certain people to tape the show with each other. Jill was not apologetic and she called Alex a “coward” for delivering Bethenny’s message. She seemed to not give a hoot claiming they are “not friends and were never friends to begin with.”

The next discussion regarded Ramon’s “renewal process”. While Ramona claimed that she has gotten hundreds of Tweets regarding her “renewal”, Luann feels that Ramona is still rude and mean.  Also, when asked by Andy Cohen about the big PS (plastic surgery), Ramona tried to claim that she hasn’t had “plastic surgery”, but she has had “injectables”.  Big difference…

Bethenny was next on the chopping block, and of course most of the conversation surrounded her new marriage, baby and her failed relationship with ex-BFF Jill. Of course Kelly and Bethenny had a little argument as B accused Kelly of spreading rumors to the press.

After a weird, brief segment with Kelly, it was time to talk about Jill and Bethenny’s drama. After a short recap of their relationship during the season, the two gave their feelings about the whole situation. Both the women looked very uncomfortable during the emotional recap. Jill started crying, claiming that she didn’t like who she was during the season. She also suggested that the cameras had an influence on how she treated B during the season. Bethenny, on the other hand, gave it to Jill straight and told her that the show and the fame “took her over.” She accused Jill of telling the cameras to not go around her to sabotage her new show (Bethenny Getting Married). Alex gave her two cents and suggested that Jill was trying to cut B out of the Housewives. Bethenny also slammed Jill for exposing her husband’s cancer and her daughter’s weight loss on the show. They went back and forth for a while, but Jill did break down telling Bethenny that she misses her. Bethenny was unsure about their friendship and mentioned that her husband didn’t really care for her. An emotional Jill walked off the set and everyone gave their feelings about the whole issue.

Next week, Part two..Jill gets ready to walk off and Kelly walks off and of course Ramona’s goes off!
