RHO NY Episode 7 Recap: Meet the New Housewife

Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York returned Thursday night for another hour full of drama, fashion and catfights.

The episode began with Luann visiting the new Housewife Sonja Morgan.  Morgan, a 45-year-old socialite and movie producer, was married to John Morgan, the great-grandson of J.P. Morgan.  She loves men, shopping, sex, plastic surgery, good wine and animal surroundings.  Sound familiar?

Now back to the show….

Jill met with Bobby met up to discuss the hole Bethenny situation over pizza.  While Bobby seemed to have a little remorse for Bethenny, and Jill actually contemplated reconciling with her.  But for the sake of the show, we don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon.

In the meantime, Alex joined Bethenny for her Pepperidge promotion.  Bethenny filled her in about her failed attempt to reconcile with her father as well as her talk with Jill at Ramona’s house.

BFF’s Jill and Luann met and Luann revealed that she is dating the Frenchmen.  Jill was ecstatic to hear that he is Jewish and claimed that there was hope for the couple because she is “married to a Jewish guy.”  Ramona and Mario also decided to renew their vows after 16 years of marriage.

Alex’s Brooklyn Fashion week event finally arrived and she, Ramona and Kelly decided to participate in the show.  Jill showed up and complained about EVERYTHING from talking about the venue to criticizing Ramona about her jewelry.  She even said she was overdressed and she “should have been in a wife beater and jeans.”

Kelly looked fine walking down the runway, Alex looked like the “devil” (according to Jill) and Ramon…well let’s just say she looked like a robot on the runway.  Jill left the show abruptly and left Ramona very upset because she wasn’t supportive.

And surprise, surprise, Bethenny finds out she is preggo!  Too bad she couldn’t reach Jason, her baby’s daddy, on the phone when she found out, but he probably knows now…She was very freaked out when she found out.  We’re quite sure she would have loved to tell ex-BFF Jill, but we all know Luann is not having that.

Jill hosted an event for Kodak, with whom she has signed on to promote their website.  Luann, Kelly, Sonja Morgan and Ramona came out to support.  Ramona, in typical Ramona-style, told Jill that Kodak was “in trouble financial” and asked why she was associated with them.  She also asked Jill how she felt about the fashion show and why she left so abruptly.  Jill said lies nice things, but as soon as Luann joined the conversation, she took another turn and asked Ramona to leave because she was ruining everything for her.  The bodyguard Luann intercepted and told Ramona that “it wasn’t the time.”

Kelly, who is still peeved about Jill’s email, came to her defense and told Ramona that she was wrong.  She turned her back on Kelly and told her that she “wasn’t a business person.”

Sonja finally arrived at the event and Luann was excited to introduce her to the other Housewives.  It turns out that she has known Ramona for about twenty years and she also sexin’ someone that Kelly used to date.

Ramona decided to start arguing with Kelly again during Jill’s presentation.  Kelly tried to walk away, but Ramona had to get a few things off her chest before leaving.  Jill felt betrayed and that Ramona deliberately tried to sabotage her endorsement.

Next week we can expect more sex talk from Sonja, Jill running from Bethenny and more!
