RHO NY Episode 3 Recap: More Drama and Fashion

If you missed Thursday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York, check out the recap:

The episode begins with Bethenny reading an article in the Daily News about her ‘rifts’ with the other housewives. The article claimed that she’s been “alienating” herself from everyone.  Bethenny automatically assumed that Jill had some influence on it claiming, “it had Jill’s fingerprints all over it.”

In the meantime, Kelly had an interview with a journalist about her Playboy photos.  Even a blind person could see that she was immediately attracted to him.  After giggling and stumbling through the entire interview, he finally Kelly asked her out and she agreed.  Unfortunately, Kelly later decided not to go on the date, claiming that she didn’t want to “mix business with pleasure.”  She prefers to date someone as “big” as her ex husband, French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon.

Luann decides that it is time to move back to NYC. She was getting a little bored in the Hamptons and wants to return to the Big Apple.  She also figured it would be easier for her daughter to find a fashion internship in the city.

Speaking of fashion, Jill’s daughter Ally had a photo shoot for Seventeen Magazine.  Kelly joined Jill and Ally, and of course, Jill managed to embarrass everyone with her over-the-top behavior.

Now on to the juicy parts…

Alex made the mistake of inviting Kelly, Ramona and Bethenny to assist her with selecting fashions for Brooklyn’s fashion week.  By the way, Jill wasn’t invited because Alex is still upset about the comments Jill made about her children.

Anyway, Bethenny started picking about the Sak’s event and the ladies filled her in with all the drama that happened. Kelly rehashed her spat with Ramona and Ramona insisted that asking Kelly about her breast implants was not mean.

Jill’s name came up and while Ramona didn’t want to get involved, Bethenny tried to have a pity party.  But, Kelly stunned B when she told her that she was acting the same way last season.  Bethenny couldn’t handle the truth from Kelly and cried about how she had recently called a truce with her claiming, “I thought this was all cleaned up…we can’t keep rehashing.”

Alex was peeved that the ladies got sidetracked with the gossip and drama and demanded that they either help her choose fashions or take their drama OUTSIDE. They apologized and helped her choose from the interesting group of designers.

Later on, things got a bit emotional for Ramona while discussed her renewal and her relationship with her father.  She revealed that her father abused her mother and his death was the reason for her renewal process.

Word got back to Jill about the meeting between the other housewives and she sent Kelly a sort of mean-girl email telling her that she needed good luck to deal with Bethenny.

The confrontation.

Bethenny decides to give Jill a call to settle the score.  The call immediately gets off to a bad start with Jill putting B on speakerphone while Luann was listened.  Anyway, Bethenny suggested to Jill that they get together and talk about their drama because it had gotten enormous and Jill has blown everything out of proportion.

Jill, being the catty woman she is, blew her off and went on and on about B not calling Bobby after his surgery.  She threw in all the things that she and her husband had done for Bethenny and ended the conversation by telling her that they “we’re done.”  This fight is getting so old…

Ramona tells Bethenny that she doesn’t have any friends besides Jason.  Bethenny and Jill may meet to have a face to face…if Jill doesn’t punk out again.
