RHO NY Episode Recap: Fashion Shows & Catfights

 
“The Real Housewives of New York” returned Thursday night for another episode full of fashion shows and catfights. 

The episode began with Luann and Kelly running into Bethenny at a fashion show.  Between posing for pictures and phony smiles, Bethenny and Luann managed to cause a scene. While Luann felt that she was defending Jill, Bethenny felt that she was “digging.” She told Luann, “I don’t like you; I don’t trust you and I think you are a snake.”  Kelly tried to control the situation by sitting between the two, but when she decided to sit next to a good friend, Luann and Bethenny were stuck sitting next to each other for the entire show. Can we say awkward moment?

Kelly continued her Fashion Week tour and met up with Ramona and her daughter Avery at another event.  Kelly brought up Ramona’s Labor Day party and the fact that she didn’t receive an invite.  After Ramona rambled on and on about the number of people she invited, she ended up tossing Avery in a cab and heading to a Perez Hilton event with Kelly.  See what happens when you invite people somewhere, but you really don’t mean it?

Once they arrived at the Perez Hilton party, Kelly told Ramona about the catfight between Luann and Bethenny at the fashion show. Surprisingly, the “new Ramona” refused to take sides and get mixed up in their drama.

Bethenny, Kelly and Alex met up at another event.  Kelly and Bethenny agreed to try to move on and settle their beef. We’ll see how long this will last.

We had a chance to check out Jill’s photo shoot for the cover of the book she co-wrote with her mother Gloria and sister Lisa titled “Secrets of a Jewish Mother.”  The whole scene was funny because Jill seemed to be embarrassed by her mother’s outspoken behavior.

The main fallout happened at the Sak’s event hosted by Jill.  All the housewives were in attendance except Bethenny.  First, Alex confronted Jill about the statements she made about her son.   Jill told her she got the story from Luann.  When Alex confronted Luann, blew it off and kept it moving.  Did the Countess lie?

Next, Ramona started acting like the “old obnoxious Ramona.” She started off by barging into a conversation between Alex, Luann and Simon.  She then blabbed on and on about how Luann didn’t want to invite Alex and Simon to her Labor Day party.

The drama really started when Ramona (who acted like she had way too many drinks), asked Kelly about her breast augmentation.  Kelly was immediately offended and Ramona insisted that she “was just calling it like it is.”  But, Kelly didn’t back down, she let Ramona have it and told her that if she was her mother she “would be embarrassed by her behavior.”  The episode ended with poor Kelly leaving the event totally upset about the catfight.
